Attachment Repair Program

The Psychological Mechanisms of Earned Secure Attachment

01

1. The background

Over 73% of our audience grapple with three main forms of attachment: anxious/preoccupied, avoidant/dismissing and disorganized/fearful-avoidant.

Attachment styles influence all parts of our lives, from the partners we choose, to our self-worth, and motivation to succeed. Although attachment styles develop in childhood and are resistant to change, they are not set in stone. This course has been carefully designed to help our audience overcome these struggles and transition towards secure attachment.

2. The approach

The Attachment Project’s Repair Course is structured to help you achieve a more secure attachment style. It does so by pulling together knowledge and strategies from multiple fields of psychology to meet your individual needs.

We’ve taken the best from:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Core Conflictual Relational Themes (CCRT)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Psychodynamic Therapy
  • and Positive Psychology

03

3. The Strategies

This course provides step-by-step explanations of how to apply psychoeducation on attachment theory to your life.

Through this approach, it promotes increased self-reflection and insight into your past and present attitudes (and behaviors) toward the self and others.

You will develop skill sets for healthier emotion regulation, interpersonal relationships, motivation, self-esteem – and increased security. All of these practical exercises become automatic and ingrained over time, and so become your natural “go-to”.
