This course is for everyone who is curious to discover ancient Taoism teachings and practices and utilize those to improve their physical and mental health.
Even if you are new to Taoism, or meditation in general, you will still be able to benefit from the course. The practices of emotional alchemy are easy to understand and execute and can be incorporated into your daily routine.
This course will teach you simple yet powerful exercises that will help you heal your body from existing imbalances and cleanse your mind from negative emotions.
You’ll get acquainted with the Qigong philosophy, uncover and understand any potential shortcomings in your body, and work on restoring your physical and emotional balance.

The Cause of Body Imbalances
Metabolic processes cause the body to produce heat, which is normally distributed to the skin and released. Environmental and lifestyle factors, however, cause excess heat to get trapped within the body – in and between the organs.
The inability of the heat to escape the body causes various health issues – both physiological and psychological.

Preparing Your Mind and Body
To work on emotional alchemy, you have to remain calm yet concentrated during your practice.
Therefore, you’ll first cultivate the skill to enter a state of deep relaxation without losing your focus. With regular practice, you’ll be able to sustain that meditative state and achieve your goals – using both your body and your mind.

Restoring Your Balance
Emotional alchemy works on three different levels – posture, sound, and mental visualization – to achieve the maximum benefit for your health. Get into the habit of paying attention to your body and approaching it with care and loving-kindness.
Mastering these Qigong practices will not only restore your balance but will also help you cultivate virtues and get rid of negative emotions.

Born in 1951, Jampa began his training in Zen meditation at age 16 with Roshi Philip Kapleau. He pursued extensive training in Tai Chi Chuan, Shaolin Kung Fu, and Qigong in 1972. In 1981 he was with the first U.S. Delegation to learn the original Chen Style of Tai Chi in China with the world’s top masters. His principal teacher was Taoist Master Mantak Chia, who authorized him to teach and heal.
He trained with Tibetan Buddhist masters of the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages, and was ordained by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in 1986. Jampa is a Senior Healing Tao Instructor and Chi Nei Tsang Instructor, certified by the Universal Healing Tao, and is the co-founder of Healing Tao USA. He holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and has taught Medical Qigong.
